Well, it's been quite some time since I made a post. I apologize for my neglect, but I have been otherwise engaged. This past school year I was pregnant and gave birth to my first child in early May. After Christmas I was busy with grade level performances and prepping for maternity leave. I've had a wonderful summer with my newborn son and it has gone by waaaayy too fast!!! This was my last full week of summer. :( Thursday the 22nd I'm back on the school clock. This year I am returning to work part-time so that I'm able to spend most of my time raising my son. I am still teaching music in the same district but I am changing school assignments. 0.3 of my FTE will be spent at a new elementary school and 0.2 will be spent where I taught one day a week last year. In light of these changes, I thought I'd start a fresh with this blog and give it a new name. I will do my best to post more often this year and hope you'll stop by to read my updates! Happy 2013-2014 school year fellow teachers!
